Envicool and KJTS Group Join Forces To Deliver Smart Cooling Solutions For ASEAN Data Centres

On June 13, Envicool signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with KJTS Group Bhd, through its innovation subsidiary Green AI Sdn Bhd (Green AI), to jointly develop energy-efficient cooling infrastructure for data centres (DCs) across Southeast Asia.

 

The partnership combines Green AI’s project delivery expertise in Build-Operate-Transfer and Retrofit-Operate-Transfer models with Envicool’s globally proven precision cooling technologies. Together, we will offer advanced solutions tailored to high-growth digital infrastructure needs, with a strong emphasis on performance and sustainability.

Under the MoU, Green AI will serve as the project lead and asset owner, while Envicool will contribute technical design, cooling systems, and training. The projects will adopt a performance-based model that guarantees efficiency in measurable terms, such as US dollar per tonne of refrigeration per hour.

 

“This partnership strengthens our position in delivering low-carbon, intelligent cooling systems to support ASEAN’s booming DC industry. By working with a global leader like Envicool, we can accelerate the adoption of sustainable, scalable solutions in mission-critical environments,” KJTS management said.

 

Envicool, listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, has deployed over four million cooling systems worldwide and is credited with helping prevent more than 20 million tonnes of carbon emissions. Its technologies serve major industries, including telecom, industrial manufacturing and large-scale DCs.
